Note: If youre using a phone or tablet, choose More at the bottom of the page to see the Settings option. As I mentioned before, the Windows 10 Mail and Calendar apps are miles ahead of the apps in Windows 8.1. Sent mails are not appearing in the Sent Mail folder - instead they often appear in the Spam folder attachments on incoming emails are missing. In either the Mail or Calendar apps, choose Settings in the lower-left corner. It works quickly and plays well with multiple email accounts including Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and Exchange. It has a slick UI, intuitive controls and can manage multiple email accounts.

#Email and app accounts windows 10 update
I got a Dell XPS 13 9370, and I'm running the latest versions of both Windows 10 and the Mail and Calendar app. Windows Mail App does not work with Gmail accounts The recent update to the Mail App for Windows 10 (Version 16005.12827.20200.0) has caused numerous problems with the Gmail integration. Mailbird looks and feels like a Windows 10 app and is quite similar to Outlook, at least in visual design.

I can even access the "draft" on the Gmail website, but when I open it, the formatation is completely crazy. I also noticed that when I try to send an e-mail from a Gmail account, what I wrote goes to the "Draft" folder. Similarly, add the email again by clicking the + icon that appears when you click on Manage accounts and return to your normal Microsoft account. Everything else works: I can read new e-mails normally, and the other e-mail services attached to the app still fully functional (Outlook, Office360, Yahoo). If you do not see the Delete account option, you are probably trying to delete the default email account that was added when you signed in to Windows 10. However, something happened recently and now every time I try to send away an e-mail from a Gmail account, I got a message saying: "There was an error sending your message". I'm a long-term user of the Windows Mail and Calendar app, and it has always worked like a charm for me.
